The Psychology Behind Contagious Brands

How exactly do you craft your user experience in such a way that it becomes a part of someone's rituals and habits? How do you get people coming back for more? In this powerful video,we go over the psychology behind what makes a brand or product go viral by referencing three frameworks: 1. Hooked by Nir Eyal who uses the TARI model. 2. Contagious by Jonah Berger who uses the STEPPS framework. 3. Yu-kai Chou who teaches us a system called Octalysis. All three models are important, and they are applied to different systems and situations. TARI focuses on creating a user experience that has people coming back to your product repeatedly. Contagious takes on more of a marketing approach that teaches you how to create stories and content that make your product go viral. Octalysis teaches you how to gamify your experience and take everything to the next level. This video serves as somewhat of an overview of all three systems. In future videos, I will go into each system a little bit more deeply if it makes sense to. Like, Share, Subscribe - hit that notification bell! And be sure to register here to download your [...]

Einstein and how Relativity Opened up the Doors to the Quantum Universe

By |2020-03-30T15:10:53+00:00March 30th, 2020|Psychology & Neuroscience, Science & Technology|0 Comments

Welcome to Unfolding Destiny, where we teach you how to build your life within the context of your true identity. Today, we discuss Einstein's relativity and how it opened up the doors to the Quantum Universe. Understanding this interplay gives you an interesting perspective when you realize that consciousness and identity take place in both the Newtonian and Einsteinian models of existence. We start with Newton's laws of motion and his universal law of gravity. We put these laws in play on the Newtonian grid where time, space, and matter move relatively to one another, and that everything is calculable and predictable. Then we move onto Faraday's studies of electromagnetism, Maxwell's understanding that Electromagnetism are one and the same when encountered at Light Speed (670 Million mph), and this sets the stage for addressing Einstein's question: "What is light?" Einstein came to understand that light is the absolute reference point of the universe, and that instead of things operating in reference to a grid, everything operated in reference to light. We need to understand this in order for us to appreciate the quantum universe. Like, Share, Comment. When you subscribe to UnfoldingDestiny.com, you will receive the Rules of [...]

Why Do We Dream?

Why do we dream? There has to be a physiological and a neurological reasoning behind the psychological function of dreaming. This video explores some fundamental theories of why we dream, and it largely points to the study of REM as a gateway to that understanding.
