In his manifesto Zero to One, Peter Thiel talks about the difference between globalization (zero to n) and technology (zero to 1).
Businesses that use the globalization model focus on competition; they offer products and services that are easily copied by other businesses, so they have to focus on clever marketing tactics that help differentiate themselves from the competition.
Businesses that conversely aim for technology end innovating new products that stand alone in the marketplace. Such businesses do not need to focus on differentiation because their very offering is differentiated.
In this video, I discuss my stance by introducing Personalization, which is a step towards innovation (Zero to N), but making it more accessible for all kinds of businesses and services by encouraging people to build their ventures in alignment with their core identity.
